Lightroom Classic CC: Bulk fix for error message "Error syncing with Lightroom CC"?

Adding a new computer to my workflow made my LR Classic CC catalog have some over a thousand sync errors that show up in the All Sync Errors in the Catalog panel – how do I fix all those errors in one-step?

I know I can fix those by clicking on the Error syncing with Lightroom CC icon that appears on the upper right hand corner of every thumbnail in the Grid View, but I'm not excited about hitting that icon over a thousand times.

I think you can do a Select All in the grid and then they'll all update when you click the icon.

Sorry should have been more precise: I've tried that, before taking the time writing to the forum.

By the way – questions for the Adobe forum staff: it seems like my post topic was edited from original Bulk fix for "Error syncing with Lightroom CC"? to Lightroom Classic: Bulk fix for "Error syncing with Lightroom Classic CC"? Why is this?

  1. The error message doesn't say Lightroom Classic CC but Lightroom CC
  2. Why is prefix "Lightroom Classic: " it needed in the topic when I post my topic to LR Classic CC part of the forum, not LR CC

wait, are the errors from doing a Classic to CC sync?

and ugh, i really am not fond of the app rename ripple effect for trying to troubleshoot issues.

Yep, errors are in Lightroom Classic CC and the error message when hovering mouse over the symbol says "Error syncing with Lightroom CC".

Lightroom CC is a different product which was currently released in October of 2017. It includes the Lightroom CC desktop app, the mobile apps and the web-based experience.

Previous versions of Lightroom 1-6, CC2015 and Classic (7-8) are now all labeled with the Classic brand. The issue you are facing is a Lightroom Classic question even though it is related to syncing with the Lightroom CC environment. The post was changed to reflect this.

Yes I know about the products, I use LR Classic CC for my work on my computers and only occasionally use LR CC on those, but I do use a lot of Synced Collections to share Collections and have access to them on my iPhone, iPad mini and on the web. My point is that I posted my post to the Lightroom Classic CC forum. So why was my post title edited with prefix "Lightroom Classic: "? And, you added an error to the title as well as the error message doesn't say "Error syncing with Lightroom Classic CC" but "Error syncing with Lightroom CC".

The reason for the prefix change is because the question you have is with the Lightroom Classic Software - not Lightroom CC.

You are asking how to do a bulk resync of files within Classic.  Even though the sync is with the Lightroom CC Ecosystem, the how-to is a Classic question.

Rikk, we're not understanding each other now. I did not think this would be a LR CC thing as I wrote in the LR Classic CC forum, not LR CC. For my surprise the title was edited by Adobe staff to include the prefix "Lightroom Classic CC:" and my question is why is it needed when the post is given on the LR Classic CC forum. Are you saying that even though posting on the LR Classic CC forum it is anyways always needed to have the prefix "LR Classic CC"? Otherwise I don't understand why the prefix was added.

To my question there doesn't seem to be an answer. I assume there is no way to select all those photos and have those photos re-sync in one-step. You can close this question as solved.

The post titles are just updated so we can see at a glance, as many of us view multiple forums at once and we want to make sure we answer about the right program.
