Lightroom Classic: Book module missing features

I know there are alternative ways do anything that is possible in LR but as this a forum for suggestions for the improvement of LR, and given that LR updated its version just a few days ago, I thought that Adobe might be interested in an opportunity they missed to update their product or correct a bug.

They have, in recent months corrected other bugs I've pointed out so it is worth mentioning.

Alternatively, there was a chance that the Book module had been updated and my set up wasn't responding as I'd expected - hence posting as a question.

Not criticizing your question, just trying to understand why someone would create a BLURB book within Lightroom instead of exporting and constructing the book within the BLURB application. It is unlikely that every time BLURB makes a change that Lightroom is going to be updated to reflect that change. 

(1).....because doing it in LR allows easy and quick edits to the images during the book design process before export of the final book (a similar  fundamental LR principle applies to the Slideshow, Print and Web modules too.)

(2) ...because the LR Book module can easily apply image metadata picked up from within LR

(3) .....because it's easier and quicker to work end to end within one application than two (again - a fundamental of LR).

Hopefully that helps you, although we've kind of got off the original point which was simply my suggestion to Adobe for how to keep the product that they have designed up to date.
