Lightroom Classic: Book Module Issues - Book Not Updating

I was working with LR Book module but as I reached Page 220, the book failed to continue updating. Blurb book paper is set to Premium Lustre. According to Blurb, photo books using this paper can be up to 240 pages. Even when I try to remove pages and then exit LR, when I load LR again, the removed pages are still present. Any assistance would be appreciated. 

I am using LR Classic Ver. 8

I had the same issue in 8.0 and beyond.  Ultimately I removed it and reloaded 7.5 which seemed to work fine.  Lot of extra work and my book was the same size as yours.  Eventually I sent it to print through Blurb and it came back fine but only after totally redoing in in 7.5.  In 8.0 and beyond I continually lost edits or pictures and corrections made would disappear if I left the book pages to go back to the library or shut down Lightroom.  Very frustrating. There was an indication that a fix was in the works but to date I have not seen it.   Hopefully Adobe will fix it.  I have heard from the Adobe staff about the issue so I know they are aware of it but very frustrating if you have a deadline or if you have put in a lot of time on a project only to lose the work.

Didn't work for me. Same issues in LR Classic 8.1.  Book module will not save changes and keeps reverting over and over again. Very frustrating.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Book Module in LR in 8.1 still not saving changes.

Book Module in LR Classic in version 8.0 and now after updating to version 8.1 it is the same problem: it's still is not saving changes. It keeps reverting to a previous photo placement. When I leave the book module and comeback all changes are gone. When I export to PDF pages with images that I am trying to change are blank. Ugh.

Has anyone seen this problem fixed? I've contacted Adobe multiple times for book module issue and am continually told that they are working on it. It has been a a couple months since I contacted them so I thought I would check the forums first. My problem came when uploading the book. I could finish the book, and it would nearly complete the upload then give me an error (it would also do this when I tried to convert the book to a PDF). I have several books that I am waiting to print now and would love to get things moving along.

Hi,
The last time I contacted the help desk they had me return to an older operating Lightroom Classic (6.14) to correct a problem with Lightroom freezing and shutting down. I was originally operating 8.2. Out of curiosity, is this problem consistent between the classic and the CC program? Or is the book module functional in CC? Thanks!
