Lightroom Classic: Book Module - Book missing

I was creating a blurb book in Lightroom book module. When moving from Library, where I was editing images in the collection, to Book module, my 200+ page book was completely erased. The current price is still there and my photo collection, but my detailed book has been completely erased. Is there a way to recover?

Did you save the collection as a Saved Book?

If you look in the Collections Panel is there a special 'Saved Book' Collection that contains your images for your book? 

In the Book module do you see a Filmstrip?

It might be a good idea to screenshot your Book Module and, if available, the collection panel showing the Saved Book.

Yes, there is a saved book and the filmstrip is also there, with the full collection.

I’ve attached a screenshot. When I returned to Book from Library, Lightroom had changed my portrait book of 200 pages to this landscape book of 10 pages. The estimated price for my original book of $148 was still on the screen at the time, but has since changed , when I switched modules again.

I am experiencing exactly the same thing (which happened at approximately the same time). I had a book (200+ pages) which I created earlier this year. Without me doing anything, it has been replaced with two pages from a different book - a real tragedy! This followed the most recent upgrade and happened at about the same time as the OP's problem. Anything you can do to help me recover a lot of time and effort? @Rikk

Recovery in this case is dependant upon a recent backup. Does a recent backup showing your book intact exist?
