Lightroom Classic: Black colour in Develop

the first switch to develop module works correctly, switching back to the library module and the again to develop another picture leads to black image, then when restarting Lightroom the problem is same

Sounds like the graphics card, try turning it off (or on) in LR prefs.

I've seen it too. It is indeed caused by GPU acceleration. Go to Preferences - Performance and turn this off.

If it works if you disable it, then it's likely that updating your graphics driver will allow you to re-enable it and enjoy faster processing.

It's not always that simple. I experienced the same thing on my 13” MacBook Pro. Out of the blue, suddenly a Sony A7R III file turned black in the develop module, while I had been working on hundreds of files from this camera without a problem. Turning off GPU accelleration made the file visible again. As you know, MacOS X does not have separate GPU drivers that you can update, and the 13” MacBook Pro uses the integrated Intel GPU anyway.
