Lightroom Classic: A simple button to tell Lightroom to do JUST ONE TASK AT A TIME, for hdr processing and other heavy work!

Obviously we don't get the strongly desired batch function for hdr photographs, which is ridiculous! But at least they could give us a simple button to switch lightroom into a single task mode!So we could rush through our raw files, hit shift-ctrl-h for every stack of bracketed raw files and leave the computer alone. This is impossible right now, because lightroom will start working on all tasks at the same time and finally crash while working on more than five or so hdr files.
So the easiest way (at least for adobe) to help all the real estate and architectural photographers out there, wasting long hours of their time hitting shift-ctrl-h and working their way through hundreds of raw images, would be that simple button!!!

This sounds like a simple workflow issue... mark the images you want to batch hdr and then select those marked images when you're ready to batch them...

Hi Alex,

Since version 7.0, Lr does not start multiple merges at the same time but queues and executes them one by one. This capability was added to allow users to queue multiple merge operations while maintaining the interactivity of the app.

With version 8.4, we have added the capability to batch merge hdr and pano images as well. You can get more details here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/whats-new/2019-4.html#otherenhancements

Ok, thanks a lot Eartho and Satish. Seems I was not able to find this information by myself... But I figured out myself yesterday that it actually does not start multiple merges at a time anymore... Feeling a bit stupid now :D
But thanks a lot again! :)
