Lightroom Classic: (9.1) Videos have exclamation marks and adjustments are not possible.

Feb 2020, Lightroom Classic 9.1, Mac OS Catalina (all updated) and this issue has still not been resolved. I have massive amounts of videos with exclamation marks and "Lightroom will not be able to make adjustments". Pathetic.

Can you be a little more specific Katrin? What file types, for a start? And do they play in QuickTime?

Are the exclamation marks on the files themselves (in the Finder)? Or just in LR?

An Exclamation mark on an thumbnail means that image is Missing. It is not in the folder that LR thinks it should be in.
It has been moved or delete outside of LR.

videos also have exclamation marks when they return some kind of error and LR thinks it cannot process them. Even though the files are in place and play fine in quick time.
