Lightroom Classic 8.4 not using gpu

Lightroom Classic 8.4 will not use my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti. The option to select the GPU is "grayed-out". This GPU works with LR Classic 8.3.1. I have installed the latest NVIDIA drivers. Anyone with the same problem? Solution?

Yes, the same problem. The update from Win 7 to Win 10 was the solution. It performs fine!

Hi Terry! If you want more info regarding Arnold's response (i.e. why you may need to upgrade to Win 10 if you're still on Win 7), then see: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/graphics-card-not-supported-in-lr-8-4

I'm guessing the moderators might eventually merge your problem with that thread.

Also, check Adobe's FAQ regarding LR v8.4's GPU support: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/lightroom-gpu-faq.html

Hope this helps!
