Not a problem

Lightroom Classic 8.0: Moving Adjustment Brush pin deselects image

I am using latest version (build 1193777) of LightroomClassic CC, for Mac- in Develop module, I am made a targeted adjustment to animage. If I try dragging the pin, the image disappears, and the empty window says Nophoto selected. I then have to go back to the Library, and select the imageagain. If I delete the pin/adjustment, the image also disappears.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

First thing to look at is if you have the LR option to use the GPU turned on. You find that in the LR Preferences under the Performance Tab. If it is Checked, IE you have it turned on, un-check it, Turn It Off, and test.
If that doesn't solve the problem then the problem is in the Graphic subsystem of your computer or possibly, but doubtful, in the LR Preferences file which you can Reset.

I had it checked, so I unchecked it, but still Lightroom exhibits the same behavior.

Also, when I have an image in Develop module, and I click in History to go back one step, the image is also deselected, and I get No photo selected message. This happens whether or not I have GPU checked.

I can't reproduce this problem on my Macs.

I restarted Lightroom, and that seemed to solve the issue...so far.
