You talk about CC Classic? On Windows or Mac? On my Window version it works as it should.

This stared when updating to latest version 7.5. No problem before this.

Poul, it sounds like Copy Settings window is popping up behind the LR window or offscreen (and when you hit escape, it closes).  Sometimes LR gets confused about where to open new windows, and the easiest way to fix this is to reset LR's settings:

It ́s Classic CC v7.5 on Win 10. It ́s not possible to right click my image -> Develop settings -> copy settings. Had this issue in all versions of Classic CC.

Marcel -

I tested on 2 Win10 machines running Classic CC 7.5 and it worked as expected.  I also don't know that there have been any wide spread reports of this problem, so it sounds like this is more isolated to your setup and/or workflow.

When you say it's "not possible to right click my image -> Develop settings -> copy settings", what exactly do you mean?  Are you not seeing that menu choice at all when you right-click?  Are you able to click the choice, but nothing happens?  More specific details on exactly what you're doing and seeing would certainly help troubleshoot.

Also what module are you in & what part of the screen are you right-clicking on when you're trying to do this?  In Library, the right-click choice should be Develop Settings --> Copy Settings, when you're clicking in either the main window or filmstrip.  In Develop though, it's Settings --> Copy Settings when you right-click on the image in the main window, but it's still Develop Settings --> Copy Settings in the filmstrip.  All of these should bring up the Copy Settings dialog box where you can check off all the adjustments you want to copy.

Hi Tom,

none of the described methods brings up the copy dialog. I ́m having this problem since I upgraded from 6 to 7.x. And I saw more than one person having the same issue on other forums.

"I'm having this problem since I upgraded from 6 to 7.x."

Please post the first ten lines of the menu command Help > System Info. You may have been struck by a nasty LR upgrade bug.

I'm in normal develope mode and have made revised settings to an image and wish to apply the same settings to some following images (As i've done thousands of time before)
When hitting the copy button down left the system freezes and the expected screen does NOT show up (Anywhere also not as a hidden behind other windows) LR freezes the moment the copy button is activated... Same story using "Copy settings" Fro the "settings menu"

LR revis hitting esc

John R. Ellis, Champion

John have to say....   I LOVE YOU.... After starting Lightroom with the "Reset" function. My copy settings works again...
Your explanation that the copy panel opens somewhere invisible sounds very likely.

So thanks for your support I'm now again a very glad man...

Marcel, to build on Tom's suggestions: Please post the first ten lines of the menu command Help > System Info. You may have been struck by a nasty LR upgrade bug.
