Lightroom Classic 7.4: Default development setting does not sync to Lightroom CC (iPad)

I have set a camera profile as default development setting for my camera model („camera natural“ for an Olympus camera) in Lightroom Classic. When I import images to Lightroom Classic that setting is applied correctly, but when I open those images with Lightroom CC on my iPad the setting is not synced. Before Lightroom Classic 7.4 the default development setting was synced properly to Lightroom CC.

To my knowledge, defaults have never synced to LR CC on mobile. They were respected on the desktop until a recent update, but not on mobile. The reason is simple - defaults are stored locally, not in the cloud.

So just to confirm, you're importing the photos into LR Classic and then syncing to the cloud from Classic? And it's not syncing the camera profile?

Yes, that is what I am doing. I am sure it worked before, because I was so happy about it.

Since 7.4 I need to apply additional developments like auto-tone to have the camera profile synced to Lightroom mobile.

What is somewhat irritating as well: the camera profile which is shown on Lightroom mobile after the first syncing is Adobe Standard and not Adobe Color as I would have expected, when no camera profile has been applied.

Yes, I'd expect that to work too. I'll see if I can reproduce it.

Sorry tpnotes, I've been out of the office for the last couple of weeks. You are flagged in my inbox to test ASAP. I haven't forgotten you!

Hello tpnotes,

Please try the latest Lightroom Classic 7.5 update and let us know if you are still facing the same issue.
Waiting for your response.

Thanks,

Can you please share the camera model, profile and a raw file ?

It is an Olympus OMD E-M1 MII and I use the profile "camera natural".

How do I share a raw file? I only see an option for attaching jpg/gif/png.

I can confirm this is still an issue with LR Classic 8, and LR Mobile 4. Defaults do not get synced correctly to LR Mobile. Using various Canon cameras.
