Lightroom Classic 7.3.1: Delete rejected photos not working

Question

Since 7.3.0 (also in 7.3.1), I just do the usual, nothing special, like everyday, flag images with x or X, then CTRL+Backspace, and I get the result : "There were no rejected photos to delete".

- I tryed also with the menu (Photo - Delete rejected photos), same result.

The only way I can work out this situation right now, is by using the menu Edit - Select by Flag - Rejected, then I can delete the selection...

PC, windows 7 pro 64 bits.

Both methods work here on OSX 10.13.4 and Lr7.3.1Have you tried restarting Lightroom and computer?

Are you sure that you didn't switch to a collection or folder that doesn't contain any images marked as rejected? The 'Delete Rejected Photos' menu is misleading at best. It does not simply delete all rejected photos like you would expect, it only deletes those photos marked as rejected in the currently selected folder. And if you are in a collection it doesn't even do that. It will only remove those photos from that particular collection. Now try that menu when you are in a smart collection...
