Lightroom Classic: 5.7.1 MacOS 11.01.1 After crop, preview is incorrect until you click the mouse

After you crop an image, the displayed image does not match your crop rectangle.

Once you click the mouse on anything, the display shows the correct cropping

I am totally oblivious to the Mac operating system. I have never used one. However, I suspect that unless there is some setting on in your operating system that can affect the behavior there is nothing else that can be done. You are using an outdated OS, and the Lightroom you are using has not been supported in any way by Adobe for several years. It is not being updated, and is not supported other than by other users. I'm a user, and I'm not giving you a very good support because I haven't used Lightroom 5.7 for a long long time.

Actually he is using the Most Current version of Mac OS, Version Eleven (11) as noted in the topic title.

But a version of Lr that is 6 years old.

To the OP.

You are lucky it works at all. This is something you will need to live with. Adobe will not be doing anything to fix this.

I suppose I need to be a little more knowledgeable on my Mac OS versions. Thanks for setting me straight.

Yeah Jim this is the First Mac OS in 12/14 maybe more years that wasn't OS (10).

How do you easily write that? OS XI I guess. But Apple would prefer MacOS 11 or XI. To many keystrokes.

Apple now calls them "macOS 10" and "macOS 11". I've tired of marketers' childish nonstandard English capitalization (e.g. capitals in the middle of words, like "ThinkPad"), so I just use traditional English rules: Mac OS 11, Thinkpad.
