Lightroom CC 2015.6: Crashes when using Smugmug export plug-in

I updated to LR CC 2015.6 and when I attempt to use my Smugmug export plug in (which has been working fine until now) it crashes LR.  I have also contacted Support for the plug in and they never heard that a plugin could crash LR.

Update - I'm starting to discover that my Lr sometimes goes "not responding" DURING a publish to SmugMug action in addition to immediately following.  Still getting not responding errors during an import from an SD card, usually after the files are actually imported and while standard previews are generated.

The last Lr update may have fixed these problems for some but I'm observing a number of users that are still having one or both issue...

Hi Fred.

Thats odd.  As a A+ certified guy, I got curious.

I just did a new install on my wife's pc laptop.  Creative cloud, Lr, SmugMug publish.  No issues.  Performed flawlessly.  Imported and published a photo from a CompactFlash.

As I can see what I would do is check your system for a virus, then I would remove all unneeded applications.  Would move all photos to a external.  Back up your system and do a clean or repair install.

You shouldn't be having these issues, unless you don't have the appropriate system requirements and or you have a virus, or other application blocking your system from working properly.

Thanks Gary, it worked for me once upon a time as well - until it didn't.  I'm not bad with this stuff either and I've done all the usual checks and can't identify anything that "changed"  when the problems first surfaced.  This is a nuisance (albeit a growing one) rather than a pain bad enough to cause me to do a clean Windows install with all that it entails.

I'll wait for an Adobe person to weigh in with something smart or an application update that unravels whatever is crossed up.  In the meantime, it's pretty clear that I'm not the only one facing either issue.  Thanks again...
