Lightroom: Auto Import & Convert to .DNGs from watched folder
Would it be possible to get a "copy as .DNG" or "move and convert to .DNG" option when using the auto import feature? I drop my .CR2 files into a watched folder but they only come into LR4 as .CR2 and it would significantly help my workflow if i had the option to have them imported as .DNGs... I know i can convert manually after import but i am trying to have a true automated import process!

That is why i want it on the watched folder import workflow as well as when importing from card reader.
This is a good "poor mans" wi-fi solution which works great but currently have the added step of converting everything to .DNG after the fact.
Thanks...

On a side note, I am curious about how you find the transfer speed of a MKIII file across Wi-Fi. I have shot in situations with wireless transfer on smaller files and found it to be too slow to be useful compared to direct cable tethering.

Import from a card is a no no for wedding photographers. We need backups and doing it twice is too much.

The cleaner/more elegant method (from a UI standpoint) would be to take all of those out and just allow you to select an Import Preset (then just create presets with your various settings that you can use in the dialog).
See the difference here:

I want it to:
- Convert to DNG
- Put images in my library folder under a dated folder
- Use any new shiny options I find as I use Lightroom more
