Page 11 of the Camera Manual PDF has info on Borderless-

So in Lightroom open "Page Setup" and choose paper size and borderless in the Printer dialog (as per your printer manual).
Then in the Lr Print Module, Layout Panel- set ALL margins to absolute minimums, and set cell size to absolute maximums.

Note: if aspect ratio of image is different to the Paper aspect ratio (eg. 6x4) then you will get some white border margin unless you check "Zoom to Fill" in the "Image Settings" panel.

I have tested borderless printing with some software provided by Canon. It prints correctly.
thus the problem does not lie with the printer. Moreover the function works correctly in Elements.

The problem is that Lightroom (LR6.3) does not accept the settings from the Canon printer.  Do you have any solution?

Did you follow Robert's suggestions? I have three different series of Canon Printers in my office and they all print borderless if you follow the Canon manual.

I am well aware of the Canon printer routine. As I mentiioned it works correctly in Elements and has always done so in the past in Lightroom. The problem now is that Lightroom does not recognise the settings in Canon. It is NOT my incorrect settings in the Canon software. When I set Borderless on the printer I cannot move the border and cell size adjustments in Lightroom.

I have just updated to LR6.4, but it has not cured the  borderless printing problem

When you say " not my incorrect settings in the Canon Software."- what are you referring to?
Do you open the Printer setup dialog in Lightroom for each image you want to print borderless and set the printer as 'borderless' and Paper size?  (The printer would not 'remember' settings you may have used for printing from Elements, etc.)
And after setting 'borderless', are you checking LR settings- [Zoom to Fill], and [Layout] Margin sliders at Minimum, Cell Size sliders at maximum?
Why won't the sliders 'move' ? (in any direction??)

As I have repeatedly reported that I do all that and always have. The sliders will move to increase the border but will not move to the zero position, nor will the cell size.

Please provide screenshots of your having set the proper paper size and borderless printing in your Canon printer driver as well as your LR paper and border settings.

With specific examples, someone may be able to tell you what is wrong, but all we can do, now, is tell you that it works for us and that the problem must be something on the computer and not in LR.

If the problem is not with LR, how is it that with identical settings on the printer I can get borderless prints from  Elements. I have sent screenshots previously..

Because other people don't have the problem.  It's possible something is corrupted in the information LR has for the printer, and you need to reset things, perhaps installing a new instance of the printer with a new copy of the driver and trying that in LR.
