Lightroom 6: Swipe gesture with Active Pen & Lenovo Yoga doesn't work

In the Library window of Lightroom 6 on my Lenovo Yoga 13 Windows 10, I
can use my finger to scroll up or down in the main window or left and right on the film strip, but when I try to do the same with the Active Pen it appears to perform a left mouse click and drag and select and move the individual picture

This was reported in Case Number ADB-1992893-S7J2  but not resolved after 2 hours discussion with Technical Support
