Lightroom 6: Crashing in Slideshow Module
Lightroom 6 keeps crashing when in Slideshow module on a MacBook Pro with latest OS-X. I've tried on several occasions to report this to Adobe, but I get no response. I am not using GPU. Can anybody help to fix..?

Can you copy and paste the config info from your Lightroom's system info dialog under Help menu?
Also did you submit the crash log to Adobe with your name and email address (so that we could identify the crash report as from you?

Also, what are the steps that you do in the slideshow module when it crashed? Did you apply an music clip to a slideshow? Can you normally play a video in the library module without Lightroom crashing?

When it crashes, I answer 'yes' to the question to automatically send the error log to Apple - but it doesn't ask to send it to Adobe. Q. How do I send it to Adobe..?
In slideshow mode, I actually do very little, the software crashes almost immediately. I do however have music clips (just a single one) appended to each slideshow.
I do not use video clips, so I haven't tried to run one in the library module.
Q. Could you discern anything from the configuration file I sent previously...?
Kind Regards,
Kevin Pascoe

I do not recall ever seeing an Adobe Crash Report in addition to the Apple one. However, in case I have indeed stopped it from showing again, I've had a look at the directory you've indicated. Unfortunately, the file you mention does not exist in my library. I've attached a grabshot of the 3 files that do exist in case the one I need is there, but under a different name.

I looked up for crash report by your email address. I can confirm that it is a known crash and a fix has been made for the next scheduled Lightroom dot release (ie. Lr 6.2). Please check it out when the release is available.

I have a mix of 377 pictures and videos (videos do play fine in Library Module). I have a mix of mp3 & mp4a music, but Slideshow Module crashes with or without music selected.
I am using a late 2014 Mac Mini with OS X Yosemite, 3 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB memory, Intel Iris 1536 MB graphics. My software is up to date.
Can you help me resolve this problem?

You can follow http://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-roll-back-to-lightroom-2015-1-1-or-lightroom-6-1-1/ to revert back to Lr 6.1.1 if Lr 6.2.1 does not work out for you.
