Not a problem

Lightroom 5.6 strange color bleeding.

Strange color bleeding in Lightroom. When processing some recent volleyball photos I noticed the skin tones bleeding into the jerseys. I've never seen this before. I turned on lens correction and chromatic aberration removal, but it didn't change. I'm using Lightroom 5.6 on a PC.

Looks like a brush stroke to me - did you double-check for local paint?

No brushes. The only thing I did to the file was adjust white balance and crop the image.

Thanks. I can't reproduce it here so far.

Hold down Shift while pressing the Reset (Adobe) button at the bottom of the right panel group and see if you can still see it.

That makes it go away.

So I went through the steps that I had applied to the image and it appears to be the chromatic aberration removal that is causing it. The odd thing is that when I uncheck the "Remove Chromatic Aberration" button, that fringe remains.

Check the Color tab of the Lens Corrections panel - you're probably applying manual chromatic aberration removal too.

That's it. I thought that with the Remove Chromatic Aberration button unchecked then the manual chromatic aberration would also be turned off.

Thanks very much for taking the time to problem solve this with me!
