Lightroom 4.3 update now available

The latest update for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom has now become available.

4.3

What's New in Version 4.3:

  • HiDPI support with the Library and Develop Modules. HiDPI provides support for Retina-enabled Macs.

  • Additional raw file support for 19 cameras including the Canon EOS 6D, Nkon D600, and Olympus Pen E-PL5.

  • Corrections and bug fixes for issues introduced in previous versions of Lightroom.

Does anybody know if Lr4.3-final may be better than Lr4.3-RC, performance-wise?

Rob for me it's worse worse worse. At a point that sometime when I move a slider Win7 tells me LR don't respond and ask me if I want to kill it. Impossible to use.

Also, icons (crop, brush etc) are just awful now... It's look like a baby tool.

I have a big hope for the 4.3 since some people see an improvement in the RC. I'm now just angry and I have lot of regrets. I definitively close it and go to find a new solution out of the adobe product.

What do you mean a baby tool? Are you on a Retina display and using scaling to make things larger?

Lightroom 4.3 hangs on import with Canon 5d mark iii.

Is this a known issue?

Nope. Not known. Create a new topic. Let us know what OS, and if you're importing from camera, card or directly from the OS/harddrive.
