Invalid Numeric Entry infinite loop error Lightroom CC 2017

Question

In LR CC 2017 on Win 10 Pro. Somehow no image is selected and I'm stuck in an infinite loop of, "Invalid numeric entry. A number between - 100 and + 100 is required. Last value inserted."

Each time I click OK it takes me to a blank value in the Shadows box. But I can't enter a value there, nothing happens. Then it goes back to the error message. Only way out is to kill LR in Task Manager.

The problem was resolved once I restarted LR.

I don't think Lightroom CC 2017 is out yet... is it? We're still on 2015.

I've got the same problem man. The only way I can get out is if I open Task Manager and kill the process. Another person just posted about this issue and I had to +1 it. It's so frustrating and time consuming. I'd say the infinite error loop happens to me 1 out of every 3 times in Lightroom, or about 2-3 times a day.

Looking at the "Related Topics" sidebar, this issue has been brought up pretty consistently over the past 6 years. Why is nothing being done about this?
