Import panel in LR cc is not working properly
I am running Catalina 10.15 on a MacBook Pro Retina mid 2014. It has 16 gb of memory and has been problem free running both PS and LR cc until now. The import file no longer opens when I insert a disk although the box is checked for it to do so. When I open the import file manually, the source file shows 3 Mac HDs, a recovery file that doesn't exist, an external HD that does, and the SanDisk card I have inserted. LRcc is the latest version. It used to work flawlessly, insert disk, import screen pops up, photos from SanDisk are visible in the import screen, upload and done. Not anymore. Any work around out there? Is anyone else having the same problem?

As an owner of my Lightroom course, I want to alert you to a potential risk.
If you use Lightroom on a Mac computer, you should NOT upgrade to the latest operating Mac system (MacOS Catalina 10.15).
This new operating system has known conflicts with Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, and Photoshop.
