Ideas for Adobe Revel
I would love to see the following ideas be implemented into Adobe Revel:
1. Dissable the delete button in the settings menu. In case other family members use the same carroussel I would like to dissable an accidental deletion of pictures.
2. I would like to share a selection of pictures online. So that the recipient of my invitation can click a link and view the shared pictures online in a web browser in a nice gallery view (Without installing an app or logging into another website like facebook/flickr...). This could be realised by implementing a browser based access possibilty to Adobe Revel.
3. Please allow to view in grid view all the time not only when you are within an album. I would like to see my whole collection in grid view.
4. Zoom option while in grid view, so that one can see more pictures at the same time.
5. Within the iOS app: Export several pictures within an e-mail. At the moment I can share 1 picture via E-mail, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr. I would like to have this possibilty for a selection of pictures as well. I'm aware that Facebook and Flickr sharing for more than 1 picture is already implemented. Please integrate the other options too.
7. In case pictures have Loctaion/ GPS infomration I would like to see them on a map view.
8. Tag pictures with several tags so that they can appear in more than 1 album.
9. Access my Adobe Revel library from within Photoshop / InDesign. (Both the online Revel collections and my stored ones on the Adobe Revel app in case I'm not online.)
10. The possibility to make only a few albums offline accessbile. In case more than 1 family member wants to access the library but doesn't want to keep the whole collection on his computer.
11. Access and update pictures Metadata/information.
12. And of course the previous mentioned integration into Lightroom with RAW support. So that my whole Lightroom collection is in sync with Adobe Revel within Lightroom itself.
I'm really enjoying Adobe Revel so far and I'm looking forward to the development your whole team is doing with it. Thank you very much and keep up the innovation and implementation of new features.

Revel's carousels should be collections in LR with no sync required. They should access the same dataset.

the integration in Lightroom would be really great (I really like the idea of LR collections = Revel carousels) but I think it should still be possible to access the carousels without Lightroom via the Mac/PC apps and mobile apps in addition to an online access as I would like to share the pictures (or some carousels) with my family as well and not all of them use Lightroom.
Please keep updating this promising looking picture cloud service!

Revel is a consumer-oriented app, geared towards accessing one's images anywhere, editing, partnering with other users, sharing, etc. While Lightroom is appealing to many consumers, it's geared more towards professionals and enthusiasts. This isn't to say opportunities for better integration aren't worth discussing. Please keep the feedback coming!

1.) The very least, there should be a passcode needed and three hard-to-reach steps before delete a carousel. I now have 15000+ photos in Revel, and the thought of my toddler deleting that by accident is a big concern.
2.) Would love to share an event with family who haven't got a mac nor iOS device.
8.) I really miss tags (as in Lightroom collections or Picasa Albums) to gather selected photos throughout a year, or photos we want to print etc. So one-to-many collections where a photo can be in several "groups"
10.) Not exactly the same, I want on my iPad and iPhone to mark some events that I want to show and edit offline.
Keep up the good work!

Don't intentionally cripple functionality and dumb-down the app too much. Even smartphone photographers need a way to retrieve and catalog.
Cheers
