Feature request: Grouping of shots
Posted elsewhere but I know they prefer single posts...
As a companion to "Edit as layers in Photoshop", could we please have a "Group" function, where two or more shots can be grouped together and then groups could be sent to Photoshop as layers (Rendered as HDR, panoramas, etc). The vast majority of my delivered images are the result of multi-shot composites where I send two, three or four shots to PS as layers. Problem now is that I have to send each group individually and then fight to get Lightroom back into the foreground to make the next selections etc. If I could simply group them and then batch "Send Groups to Photoshop as Layers", that may not take less time but at least I could go and do something else while the computer does the job.

The problem is that, in order to open these in PS as layers, I have to select the two or three images in each set and send them to PS as layers. PS then forces its way to the front and I have to time it right to get LR back to the front, select the next group and go again. This is not only annoying and time consuming but often results in errors on the PS side if I time forcing PS back into the background badly and it trips.
What I'd like to be able to do is to select those groups of two or three images and label them as a "group" and, once that's done. Select everything and, rather than "send images to PS as layers", "send GROUPS to PS as layers". I could then set the whole batch working at its own pace and go do something useful and return once it's all ready to go, instead of needing to sit at the computer and baby the process along.
