Did Adobe release Classic 10 too soon?
This forum has been filled with threads about bugs and poor performance with Classic 10. So should we all roll back to 9.4? (How?)
Is there any timetable from Adobe for a patch release to fix the most egregious issues?

Hi, as I have a lot of pictures to work on at the moment I didn't try the new version, but I answered the "how to roll back" in another thread. In Creative Cloud, click on the 3 dots on the right and choose another version:

Runs fine on this end.
To toll back, use the Creative Cloud app and select..: other version.

I've just reinstalled 9.4 on my Win10 setup. The fonts are now back to normal/usual, so I can read the medium font without a magnifying glass, and surprisingly it runs faster than 10 which claims performance improvements.
Updating LR Classic is a bit like the old 'snakes and ladders' board game!

Remember that the majority who do not experience any problems do not have an incentive to post that here. You never see posts like "Why is Lightroom Classic 10 running so fast?!!!". I'm not saying that there aren't any problems for some people, but a forum like this does not give you any indication on how wide spread a problem is, even if you see a lot of posts about it.

When I upgraded to CC2021, it also upgraded Camera Raw to Version 13. I was then unable to open any files in Photoshop apart from PSD. I could not import anything from Lightroom. After 5 hours online and giving them control of my PC, they eventually decided that I would need to revert to CR 12 (which I did and it now opens files okay.) Yesterday, I upgraded to Lightroom Version 10. It wanted to then upgrade my Catalog to a Ver 10 Catalog, but when it did I received the following error on opening Lightroom. Error is AgNegativeStyleManager_New exception thrown:dng_error_file_not_found. Lightroom opened but my right click meniu options had dissappeared and I could not open anything in Photoshop even using 'Edit in Photoshop' from the drop down menus. Whatever Adobe has done with these new upgrades is a complete disaster. I want to take and edit photographs, not spend 5 hours online with Adobe trying to solve their problems which as usual they are blaming on me. All my drivers and Windows 10 are bang up to date. My system setup is as follows, so apart from the Graphics card, is very modern. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Amd Ryzen 7 3700X 32 GB 1066mhz memory ASRock X570 Steel Legend Motherboard Nvidia GTX 760 Graphics Card with 4gb memory 15 GB of storage. I have now reverted back to Lightroom CC 10 and Photoshop 19.

It seems that the majority of those with problems are on WINDOWS and older MACs. Working fine on my new MAC. The big question now is whether to update to the latest APPLE OS?

Still no issues on a newer MacBook Pro with Big Sur.

Rolling back to 9.4 (or 9.3) is not an option, since both of these versions contain a bug in the clone/heal tool and how it renders at the edges of a frame.
The last useful version of Lightroom (at least for Mac users) is and remains 9.2.1, from April 2020.
It's so nice that we're paying for our subscription every month... :-/
