I don't think there is a 'UK localised version' of Lightroom Classic. You can set the language to 'English' in the preferences, but there is no choice between 'American English' and 'UK English' or 'British English'.

So for Adobe's second (or maybe third) largest market, you are telling me that they can't be bothered to localise it?   Even though it would be way easier than localising into say Chinese or something?  Gosh the arrogance of these guys never ceases to amaze me!

I know they are SO arrogant, to go out of their way to not pander to the minute and meaningless variations between English, and English! I think they have bigger fish to fry! Please find something else to use, I hate this much laughing!

If it is Adobe's second or maybe third largest market, it seems that the market has decided.

They make some fantastically functional software, but my perception is that they adopt an arrogant stance to their customers, taking their loyalty for granted.  Similar to your argument - people buy it so we can safely ignore them as long as they keep subscribing.  Clearly I pay for and use their software despite their attitude....but if one of the upcoming alternatives reaches a sufficient level of maturity I will jump ship without looking back.  I now actively look for non-Adobe alternatives at home and work. For example in web development and media tools we have now weaned ourselves off Adobe software completely.

And all of this because 'colour' is spelled 'color'...

Really I was about to post What is Spelled wrong. The British spell it wrong.
Col OUR and Col OR.

The OP just needed an argument for Saturday. Nothing else to do at Home.

Yeah I was mostly just grumpy because lightroom yet again corrupted my catalog, and I needed to spend another hour fixing it.  Meanwhile Adobe support not helping, just saying 'use a backup'.  Again typical Adobe response.  Don't fix the issue, just blame the user,  So whilst I was bored I thought I come and taunt a few of the fanbois (sorry Champions) on here to see if they would bite.

AFAIK LR Classic does Not corrupt its own catalog. There is something else happening on your computer that is causing corruption the LR Classic Catalog. Drive problem or RAM problem. Could also be a Heat problem that is exposing the underlying problem with your drive or RAM.

Sounds a lot like Donald Trump saying that he was sarcastic...

I came into this with the perception that Adobe were arrogant. Since using this forum I've changed my mind.  It's both Adobe and their fanbois.

Most people never get a corrupted catalog in their lifetime, so I suspect there's something else going on here (hardware problems), or there's some underlying corruption even in the backups that appear to be ok.

Feel free to post a thread on the subject and we'll do what we can to assist.
