Not a problem

bug in new 8.3 texture slider

I just updated to 8.3. The new Texture slider in the Basic panel is missing. It's visible momentarily when I switch to the Develop module, but then disappears:

It also appears that a blank rectangle is covering the Clarity slider value field, along with part of the divider and the Vibrance field.

Can you go to 'Help - System Info', copy the first ten lines and paste them in your answer?

Looks like you have a Process Version 1 or 2 image selected. Update to Process Version 5 by clicking the 'lightning bolt' in under the Histogram.

That could be it - I'm in an old part of my library. Checking ...

Yep, that fixes it. I should probably bite the bullet and update all the old stuff anyway I guess.

Dehaze is also missing.

Switching to Treatment: Black & White restores the controls, then you can switch back to Color and they remain, until you open a new image.

Again: Can you go to 'Help - System Info', copy the first ten lines and paste them in your answer?

Did you Read the comments above? For both of those things to show the images has to be using Process  5.

If you follow the timing of my replies, you will see that I did.

There's still a bug in the rendering of the panel when process 1 or 2 is selected, as you can see in the screenshot. However, it's of low consequence.

I just checked some recent images - the Presence sliders are OK. I think that confirms Rikk's observation about the Process Version being the culprit.
