This forum does not work in Safari

I've seen that too on the iPad. No problems on my Macs, however. Make sure you do not block pop-up windows on the Mac. On my iPad it sometimes works for a while, and then it stops working again. The only web browser for the iPad that seems to work reasonably well (but with some quirks too) seems to be Puffin.

I've never had a problem with Safari for iPad. SO, who knows.

Interesting... for me, Chrome works fine on both iPad and Mac. But not Safari. The problem on the Mac is not pop up related, as I get to the final confirmation of “you successfully signed on.” But it doesn’t seem to communicate back to the main window... sounds like some further testing is in order though, if others have been successful in Safari... it used to work, but stopped at some point. Are you both using the most current version!

@moderators, this thread is NOT solved, at least not on MacOS 10.14.6 and Safari 13.0.4.  I cannot log in to Adobe on Safari.  I get as far as receiving an SMS with the access code, and entering it into the pop-up window, and then getting the 'success' window "You have successfully signed in. You may now close this window."  I close that window, and the login pop-up is still there, still prompting me to log in.  If I login again, it automatically takes me through a couple of pop-ups and lands again at "You have successfully signed in. You may now close this window.".  If I close both pop-ups, I'm back at the original web page, still not indicated as Signed In.  If I refresh the page, still not indicated as signed-in.  

All this persisted even after removing any cookie that remotely smelled of Adobe.

Please fix problems with Safari.   I expect most Adobe users are Mac users and thus Safari is a common - if not dominant - browser.  I had to use Chrome (ick!) just to post this bug report.

This is exactly what is happening when you have 3rd party cookies disabled. If you do so and you want ta keep it that way you need to manually add getsatisfaction.com and auth.getsatisfaction.com into allowed white list for this site.

Getsatistafction is running this whole site even if it is accessed through photoshop.com, therefore browser consider its cookies at 3rd party cookies. If you have strict privacy settings or 3rd party cookies block, login will not work.

Right. I am having trouble with several websites that use "third-party cookies", but I do not block any cookies, and Safari has no (explicit) Preference settings for "third party cookies".  I have no plug-ins that mess with cookies.  
  

Still happening. You can't log into this site with Safari. A just wasted a ton of time with Adobe support on this, when they should know better at this point.

Not to mention that there's no "Webmaster" or "contact  us" link on this site... which is inexcusable.

Recent Safari update update fixed the problem.  Now at Version 13.0.5 (14608.5.12).

So: it was a bug in Safari.

So interesting discovery on this. I was having the issue again with Safari in iOS 13.4.1. Folks were talking about cross site tracking causing issues, and I wasn’t willing to enable cross-site tracking, so I decided to try going to a private window. Pow! Suddenly it worked. No sure why, and it’s super annoying since it won’t save my login or comments I’ve been typing even if I leave the browser for just a few moments, but hey, it’s a work around. I think the issue is in the level of complexity involved in logging in (it actually is sending you to another site, adobe.com, to enter your login credentials, so it probably is seen as cross site tracking).

Having this same problem. Don't like disabling a privacy/security setting just to log into a website, it seems a little backward. Adobe should fix the website before requiring users to turn off Prevent cross-site tracking. Adobe is a company with enough resources to fix an issue such as this. Facepalm 

Just to throw my two cents in, running macOS 10.15.5 and Safari 13.1.1, I had to temporarily disable cross-site tracking in Safari's preferences for the login to work. Turning it back on afterwards seems to have caused no ill effects.

I (and someone I'm helping) just stumbled on this bug -- we couldn't log into these forums with Safari:

Unchecking Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Prevent Cross-Site Tracking worked around the bug. But it's unreasonable to tell users to make this change to the default Safari settings.

Looks like Adobe and Get Satisfaction haven't gotten their act together to provide some other mechanism for authentication using the Adobe ID.

Yes, I think you've hit the nail on this one. I haven't been able to register to get into this forum using Safari and I think you've found the cause. I'm using Firefox for this as I don't like Chrome.
