How do I UN-SIGN UP for the torrent of emails this site generates, to which I can contribute nothing?

I mistakenly signed up for the Photoshop Family web page and now receive a torrent of emails I cannot stop.  Going to the Unsubscribe link just takes you to the Photoshop family website where I cannot find any way to unsubscribe. I will never sign up for this kind of service again.

You're in the opposite boat from me. I can't help you. I was just going to ask why I am not getting emails since the last day in January when I've not done anything different? So will someone please explain the whole getting emails thing to both of us?  I never signed up, either, but I got them and didn't think I had to sign up to get emails for any threads I'd participated in.

You literally have an option in your profile to choose to have notifications! I just found it with no problem after reading your comment...It's okay, sometimes I don't try very hard to solve a problem either.

Hi Michael,

You can control notifications by:

1. clicking your profile name in the top right corner
2. Choose Profile
3. On the left side of the page under your user name, click Email Notifications
4. All the options are there for you

I hope that helps.

I already went there. It's all clicked on to send me emails for everything I've participated in. I don't remember going there, although maybe I checked when I first signed up, but it looked like it was set right. The first 4 options are clicked on. I haven't changed it, but I'm getting nothing??? I don't even get the popup I used to get when I contributed to a thread for the first time. So I figured there's some other something I have to do to get them to start sending me emails again.

Oh, and I did check me email service in web view to see if they had started dumping them in Junk mail, but nothing was there when something should have been.

I suppose for Michael maybe turning everything off in his profile would work without a secret handshake, but I still seem to need one.  I just looked again and it doesn't look like I've missed anything. First 4 options ON, next 2 options OFF.

I just checked the settings on my personal account and they are the same as yours. Could you double check that the email address in your profile is correct?

It's the right email, it's primary, and it's verified. And I'm getting endless amounts of junk mail—this is the only one that's gone walkabout. I just checked webmail again to see if they'd held back anything, and this isn't among any of those—although it's always possible Adobe and Spectrum have gotten into some kind of upset recently and they're blocking it at a level I can't look at.

My question was how to STOP having notifications.  The notifications button is really obvious but who knows how you turn it off?

I hope I'm not missing anything here but you should be able to un-check the options you don't want then click the "save" button. Is that different than what you are seeing?
