I just encountered a login problem with this site on Firefox. I would be asked to login, then told it was successful without my doing anything, only to have it not mean that anything was successful. Also, with the latest updates, text started to show up with question marks instead of the actual glyphs. Firefox is getting very particular about "security," and making sites inaccessible to us. By allowing 3rd party cookies (for Get Satisfaction), I was able to log in here. I had to find other hidden hoops to jump through to make sites readable again.
So you might try your Security preferences and see if allowing 3rd party cookies (and having them erased on exit) will help.
The ability to block 3rd-party cookies is actually a privacy and security feature of Firefox, and one that many people find quite valuable, including myself. Don't let Adobe tell you that it is Firefox's fault just because they are too lazy to build and test their product on more than one browser.
