Zipfile for catalog backup is grayed out, not opening. Lightroom Classic 7.1.

I am trying to restore a backup as per the user guide instructions (https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/help/back-catalog.html) but when I find the backup it is a grayed out zi[ file that does not open. I'd welcome help
