Slideshow capabilites of PSE 13

I was "forced" to upgrade to PSE13 to be able to import directly the RAW files of my new camera. Now I'm quite upset about the "rudimentary" slideshow function, which gives rather no room at all for customization. I've never experienced before hand that a new version of a pogram has downscaled core capabililites, therefore I was wondering whether there is any chance to have in PSE 13 the same spectrum of slideshow capabilitites already present in older versions?
