Running Windows 7 64 bit. Ever since CC 2014 Photoshop has not been openning and crashes within a few short seconds of start-up

What does the detailed crash report say?

And have you tried updating your video card driver from the GPU maker's website?

Hi Chris,

There is no notification. Just a window telling me Photoshop stopped working. I have re-installed multiple times.

I have updated the video card drivers

Again, what does the detailed crash report say (in the windows system event viewer)?

And did you update the video card drivers from the GPU maker's website (good), or Microsoft (really bad)?

Thats the thing. There is no detailed crash report. It simply says Photoshop has stopped working. No additional information

You could try resetting the preferences: blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2012/07/photoshop-basic-troubleshooting-steps-to-fix-most-issues.html#Preferences

Or try signing out and back into the CC application to see if either suggestion would help: helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

The app doesnt stay open long enough to fix preferences. Signing out did not resolve the problem either
