Hi Jason,
I'm having the same probs as Lyo
I've got about 182GB of pictures and videos online and the downloader keeps timing out at around 22.5GB before it stops downloading
Obvious concern is that I'm unable to download my entire photo collection before the deadline (23rd Feb 2016)

I hope you can assist me with this problem
you may contact me with the same email add which I used to log in to this forum

thanks
Alex

I called apple for my refund in Dec. I emaied them your email of Nov as they requested.
Phoned them today as i have not heard back from apple. They told me i am not elgible for a refund as it is past 60 days. I paid a year subscription in Aug 15.
I tried to explain that othes have gotten refunds. He would not budge.
Could you give me the contact info at apple for your agreement with them to provide refunds. I have hit a brick wall. I am not the only one who subscribed via apple itunes. Something is wrong here.
Thanks

Hi Phillip,

Apple should be giving refunds. If that is not your experience, i'll see what I can do. I am going to email you privately with more information.

I am trying to install downloader for mac but it says my operating system (Mac OS 10.7.5) does not work and needs to be upgraded to 10.8. Please advise. I do not want to have to install a new OS just to download photos.

Hi Brett,

The Adobe Revel Downloader works on Mac OS 10.8 and above. We are currently working on a downloader for the older OS. It should probably be ready by next week.

I received the email saying Adobe Revel is being discontinued. Is that the site that contains my photos that are on Photoshop or are those photos just on the photoshop site itself? I've never paid for Adobe Revel. What will happen to my pics when it's discontinued?

Hi Lynne,

Revel is a photo sharing site. If you used to use photoshop.com then all your images were transferred over to Revel when photoshop.com closed down 2 years ago..

Go to www.adoberevel.com and sign in using your photoshop.com id. You will then see your old photos unless you opted out of the image transfer.

If you want to keep all your old photos, I recommend downloading them as soon as you can. There are instructions and other information on the above post. If you do not download your images, all images and accounts will be deleted come May 23.

Best regards,
Glenyse

Hi !

I have installed the photo downloader tool to retrieve my photos from Revel. It downloads several Go of data, but I only have resized versions of my photos that weight less than what has been downloaded...

I would like to retrieve the full size photos !

Can you please help ?

Hi Damien,

If full versions of images were uploaded to the Revel server then we will give those to you when you download.

How are you determining the images are "resized?"

Best regards,
Glenyse

On Dec.13th I paid my annual subscription fee for the Revel Cloud Storage Product. I am now told less than a month later the product will no longer be available after Feb. 23rd but I can use a new product, Crative Cloud, however it won't do what I paid for which is to store and organize my photos and have a way to share them with others and my mobile devices. I'm not interested in the new product and want my money refunded. I paid on the adobe sight. Please tell me how I can get this fee back so I can find another product that will do what I paid for.

Hi Madelyn

The announcement of the end of the Revel service occurred on Nov. 23, 2015 and we sent emails to all our subscribers. That email may had ended up in your spam folder. With that announcement Adobe cancelled all subscriptions and no longer charged anyone for use of the product.

I checked your account and see your Revel subscription ended 12/13/15. Are you saying you were charged for Revel again on Dec. 13 for 2016? Or that you purchased the Creative Cloud service, are unhappy, and would like a refund for the CC subscription?

Thank you for the clarification,
Glenyse

I've searched my email and I did not receive an email from Adobe Revel with the subject “Important notification: Download your Revel photos and videos now.” I didn't know this was happening until I tried to download the Adobe Revel app from the Google Play store so I'm very surprised and disappointed that I no longer will have a place to privately share my videos with people around the world. And, if I move my files to the Creative Cloud I have to pay for the bandwidth to re-upload them but it won't matter because I don't see in any of the offered plans the unlimited storage that I had with Revel.
Adobe, you are taking away a great product and replacing it with something that I don't need.

Hi Mark,

Adobe has chosen, as announced, to close the Revel service. Revel is a service that I actually used heavily. So I'm sad to see it go, too. The Adobe option for replacement of the service is the Lightroom and Lightroom mobile solution. Right now it uses smart previews to accomplish the syncing to mobile. In the future Adobe will have options to store the originals in the Creative Cloud Photography plan in the cloud. Unfortunately I do not have a time frame to give you.

Hope this helps,
Glenyse

I get a blank window after the Revel Downloader locates the files. Nothing happens for hours, then I give up. Second time, on a different PC. Same thing. Both running Windows 10.

I'm leaving this computer to run overnight, have between 1.5-1.8 TB to download.

I need help downloading these files.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

So my question is how to view Photos from Elements on an iPhone going forward. We used Revel to keep a couple of albums online and in effect sync them with our iOS devices. Will Adobe have someway for looking at selections of these albums after Revel goes away?

Daniel,
Sorry you encountered trouble.

Did you retry? Sometimes when a connection is lost on a system the Adobe Downloader doesn't recognize when it is re-established.

Were you able to catch what stage was the Adobe Downloader when this error popped up?
