Under consideration

Revel: really fullscreen viewing on iPhone/iPad

we viewing photo's in revel (both on iPad and iPhone), it should be fullscreen, without the top statur bar.

additionally, it should be great when viewing a photo fullscreen that the area that is not occupied by the photo is filled with the same color as the color of your iPhone or iPad. in other words: fill the empty area white on a white iPad.

thanks!

Hello Elbandido
Thank you for your suggestion. When viewing a single image I tap the image again to view the image in full screen on an ipad. We have put in requests for additional backgrounds and borders

Thanks
Scott

Hi Scott, I think albandido means the top status bar with the time and charge status that always appears even if you tap on your iPad. I would love this bar to be gone when you tap the ipad. But it is still there at the moment.

Florian,
I looked at the ipad as I do see that. I have added that to our list of feature request.
While other apps/games do go full screen I am not sure why Revel was not made to go full screen to cover up the status bar. I will pass this info onto our product management team for feature requests.
Thanks
Scott

Hello Scott,

thank you for passing on the idea to the team. The same applies to the iphone app. The status bar with them time and carrier information is also shoing all the time. It would be great to hide the bar with a tap as well.

Greetings and thank you
Florian

indeed, florian, I was talking about the statusbar at the top which doesn't disappear in fullscreen mode.

thanks for adding this to the feature list.

all the best,
pieter.

Hi Scott,

with your current implementation of Airplay you made it much easier to view pictures on an Apple TV. Now please consider the hiding of the status bar as this would make viewing pictures on the iPad and iPhone much nicer.

Florian
