Revel: Is it possible to export (save) a photo from Adobe Revel on iPad in its full resolution?
Is there any possibility to export (save) a photo from Adobe Revel on iPad in its full resolution? When I save a photo to camera roll or email a photo, then Revel saves just a preview!

Well, apparently they don't change the file size in the cloud but it is just pointless that I can't use a full size copy of the file on my iPad. I do all the development work on my iPad, but I don't have the chance of producing a printable copy.
Hey Adobe, come on: This feature is a MUST!

When can I expect this capability to be available? And, is there some other way of accomplishing the export to a PC now?

I agree with you that it's a pain not having a windows version. We are currently working on supporting windows but it is not our company policy to give out schedule information.
Thanks,

I'm sorry it's not ready for Windows yet, and I can't say exactly when it will be. We are working on it, trying to do it right.
In the mean time, the current iOS app version 1.6 now allows you to save your originals from the cloud back to your camera roll. I realize this option would be cumbersome, having to manually select over a couple thousand images and download them to your device to then migrate to your PC file system. But you do have this option. Originals not already stored in your local Revel app cache will be downloaded from the cloud when you choose Save to Camera Roll. You can also choose to save your current version with edits to the camera roll as well.
If you try this, you might want to have your library selected, viewing it in Grid mode so you see all your photos in one long bin, not separated by date. Go into Multi-select mode by tapping the little arrow button, and choose the images you want to Save.

I upload photos to Revel then when I export them they are about half the original size. For example, I just uploaded an image that was 3.8 MBs and I exported it back out and it's only 1.9 MBs. They are both 2448 x 2448 pixels so the images are getting heavily resampled.
I thought Revel store and allowed me to export full resolution photos? If so, what am I doing wrong?
Please help as I can't use Revel if I can't reliably store the full resolution of my file.

I apologize if I don't understand your forum rules, but I would appreciate a more direct approach than this sort of passive tossing about.
With respect.

Are you choosing Export Original or Export Current Version?
Revel 1.6 allows users to export images at their full resolution on both iOS and Mac. The original should in fact be the very same file. I just confirmed this works as expected for me on Revel 1.6 Mac from the Mac app store, with large images I imported and uploaded last spring and also in September.
Can you confirm how you imported images into Revel? From the file system, or drag and drop from another app? I ask, because several ways users get photos onto their iPad or iPhone does not in fact put the original file on the device. For example, syncing images onto your device via iTunes saved downsampled copies to your device. Or drag and dropping from iPhoto's Photo Stream -- Photo Stream does not keep your originals.
