Revel: If I delete a file from my computer, will it stay (and for how long) on Adobe Revel?

If for some reason I end up deleting a single file (or folder), will the pictures still be available on Adobe Carousel? If so, for how long? (assuming I keep my account)...

Hi Norman,

On the Adobe Carousel Mac desktop app there is an option to save copies of images imported into the program on the computer in the Pictures folder. So if you had a photo you had uploaded previously to your carousel account and then subsequently deleted the original, you could retrieve a copy of the original through Adobe Carousel.

All of the photos associated with your account are stored online as long as the account is active. If you delete a photo in the Carousel program (regardless of device) it removes the online version. If you had a trial subscription there is a 30 day grace period after the trial expires to still re-subscribe after which photos and your account are removed. Same is true of a paid subscription which expires but there is a 60 day grace period to re-subscribe instead of 30.

Hope that helps,

-Dave

Hi Norm,

Correct, so long as you didn't delete the photo from any of your devices. Adobe Carousel is not really intended to be used as a photo backup solution though, so I wouldn't recommend using it in this way.
