PS Starter Edition: Problem with Starter Edition 3.0 and my recently downloaded photos

I have downloaded recently taken photos to Adode Photoshop Starter Edition 3.0 Photo downloader. I have never before been able to register with this software (I dont know why) but on this occasion I was able to. To my surprise the software deleted the photos from my SD card but invited me to get an unlock code. Imagine my dismay when I was informed that the Started Edition 3.0 was now discontinued and no code were available after 2009. Please advise me how I can retrieve the said photos downloaded to my redundant software (i.e.Starter Edition 3.0) especially as they have been deleted from my card.

Thanks

Tom

Hi Carlos,

Even if you can't get into Photoshop Starter Edition, are the images still stored on your computer somewhere?
I'm checking with our team to see if an unlock code is possible.

Looks like unlock codes aren't available anymore for Starter Edition -- however your images should be stored on your computer in one of the following locations:

If you used Photoshop Album Starter Edition to import your files from the camera without changing the default folder, look in this folder:
  • Windows® XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\My Documents\My Pictures\Adobe\Digital Camera Photos
  • Windows Vista®/7: C:\Users\[User Name]\Pictures\Adobe\Digital Camera Photos
Can you look for your images there?

Pete
