Photoshop: Please make command+d deselect everything—marquees, text boxes, vectors, etc.

I think new Photoshop users are often confused that cmd+d deselects the marquee tool, but not a selected text box or vector. Instead, you have to use cmd+enter to deselect a text box and enter to deselect a vector (and for some reason, enter only sometimes seems to deselect vectors when you are using the move tool? https://twitter.com/#!/matthewrex/sta...)

Just as cmd+j was made more universal in CS6 for duplicating all types of layers, it would be nice if cmd+d could deselect anything: selected pixels, selected anchor points, selected text, etc.
