Photoshop CC - Brush Lag on Mac
Dear Photoshop,
I'm currently trialling Photoshop CC on a MacBook Pro, and I'm experiencing brush lag like there's no tomorrow. Photoshop CS5 works extremely well on the same machine, with no lag at all.
This is an Intel i7 @ 2.8GHZ with 8GB or RAM and SSD. My OS is Mountain Lion 10.8.4 with latest drivers for graphics card and Wacom Intuos 4.
Plenty of posts around the web report the same problem - but no solution. Is there a fix in the works, or anything I can do?

OS 10.7.5
Processor 3.33 GHz 6-Core Intel Xenon
Memory 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB
I'm looking at a ton of work ahead of me this week and trying to deal with it is going to add on a lot more time. Especially pissed as it effects old versions of PS that previously worked smoothly.
This did not seem to be a problem last week.
Also noticed that there is a lag when I try to zoom after I first open an image. It is also slow to redraw the image clearly after this zoom.
Please find a fix.
