Photoshop CC 2015 brush delay -- small strokes don't appear until after stroke is complete

Photoshop CC 2015 brushes exhibit a slight initial delay when drawing using a Cintiq 21UX. When I zoom in to 100% make small marks or write, the mark often won't show up until I've completed my stroke. This isn't the same kind of lag you see when using really large complex brushes, and if I'm zoomed out or making larger marks it's harder to notice.

This also affects other small cursor movements using the pen. For example, if I click on a color slider and drag to adjust the color there is a slight delay before the drag slider starts following the pen making it very difficult to make small precise adjustments.

I was hoping this would be fixed in the 2015.1 release, but the problem persists.

Photoshop CC 2014 does not have this problem.

Great no one in 4 months has bothered to address this.

I have this problem on my companion 2 with with CC and when I plug it into my desktop with CS6 the problem persists.

That sounds like a Wacom issue. Maybe the “pen moved” event is not sent before a certain distance from the hit point is reached. This distance is useful for the application to be able to tell the simple clicks from the tiny strokes (that might lead to different actions) but, in your case, it seems to be set too high. I would tinker with the tablet settings if I were you.

Hi, this has been driving me crazy always.
But I think it is not related to Wacom or your computer, neither your photoshop version, but more an issue of the brush engine.
try to activate the airbrush icon, the one on the top bar (options bar) and it should work ok.
