Lightroom unable to read ARW from A7iii
recently purchased Sony A7iii and found out that lightroom unable to read ARW file, the message appear as: "preview unavailable for this file". I dont have a problem with A6000 though, also with ARW file.
this is the system that I use
Version CC 2015.5
License : Creative Cloud
OS : MAC OS 10 version 10.13 (4)

Your LR is a couple years old. The current version is: Classic CC 7.4:
You might try using the CC app to download the latest version or try downloading it from Adobe:
