Lightroom: Option to hide the sync status indicator in for individual photos

In Lightroom I can hide the 'Cell Extras' and the 'Cell Icons'. However, I can never hide the sync status indicator for individual photos. This indicator is always visible. This is distracting, when I want to have as pure and clean view of my photos as possible. I would like to have the option of hiding this indicator.
