Fonts not displaying. Program Error

Fonts are not displaying because of "program error". I did validate all the fonts. the fonts are in the appropriate file too. i tried Preferences -> type. nothing is working. what should I do?

Is this for Photoshop? If so, what version?

It looks like you're running on Mac OS 10.6.8, is that correct?

Anytime I try dragging in a downloaded don't, it doesn't show up. It says "no font selected"

Howdy Sarah,

Did you check out the link that Chris posted?  What did those scripts come up with?  Are you seeing this problem with all files or just specific files?
