Dialog window size is not kept in Photoshop Elements 10 on MacOS 10.8

After installing Mountain Lion on my Mac the different dialog windows like the "File, Open" is very small - almost unusable. I can resize the dialog window, but next time I go to "File, Open" it reverts to the small size - in other words the size of the dialog window is not kept. Other native apple programs keep the dialog window size.

The File Open and Save dialogs are OS dialogs, and the OS remembers their size, position, and settings, not the application.

The OS stores this information in com.adobe.photoshop.plist
And if you're having trouble with those dialogs, you may need to trash that plist from your preferences directory (which Apple probably still has hidden).

I was also expecting the OS to handle this, but as mentioned it works in other applications.
I deleted the com.adobe.PhotoshopElements.plist from Library/Preferences and started PSE. Unfortunately nothing has changed.
Any other ideas?
(Btw it used to work in Lion).

No idea - again, the OS does handle that dialog. Something is going wrong with how the OS remembers the size and position of that dialog (which, again, it stores in that plist file).

Thanks for the effort. Hopefully it is a bug in OSX, which Apple will fix eventually.
