Catalog fails to populate

While editing in Lightroom 3 (develop module) I had a computer glitch.  After rebooting the photos failed to populate. I have one visible photo and the rest are the grey squares. Is there a chance that something just needs to be toggled on or off to make them visible? The # of photos shows correctly and I attempted to re-import (excluding duplicates) and nothing imported (as they are all there). How do I get the photos visible? All other libraries populate correctly except for this one.

Sounds like your previews cache got corrupted. Open the Lightroom catalog folder, and look for 'catalogname previews.lrdata'. Move it out of the catalog folder or trash it. Start Lightroom. Lightroom will now start to rebuild the previews, so you should see them appear one by one.
