I just don't get what can be taking so long for this to get fixed. Frankly, I've never run in to something like this. Usually when there's an issue with an app update it is repaired quickly, usually within a day at the most. This is just inexcusable.

iphone app malfunction.

Adobe revel app on my iPhone is not working. The app icon was faded and I keep getting a message 'unable to download app" This app had been working well before this week. I noted on the app review that others are having trouble since the recent update? Solutions?

Deleting the app and reinstalling from the App Store will also fail

I'm sorry I even updated. Why is it that when you "update" there are so many problem????? Don't you have people who are supposed to be savvy enough figure these things out before releasing??? I'm so tired of this I'm honestly considering spending my money somewhere else.

Is it not now time for Apple/Adobe/ITunes to come clean, apologies for this frustrating mess up, and give us some information. What progress are they making to get the app. To work, or to reinstall the previous app. for Revel which worked fine.

Adobe Moderator please respond to this thread!

We should be able to expect some kind of update from Adobe. Saying Nothing more than... "We are sorry for any inconvenience we have caused you. We are aware of the problem and are doing everything we can to fix the problem."

It's been 5 days now that your update that is not working has been on iTunes. The app winch downloads and then fails on install then states. Unable to download app. Would you like to retry?

When the truth is.... It did download and just didn't install. Those people who unknowingly hit that retry button over and over again, while on cellular network are eating up there monthly allotment of bandwidth over and over again on a useless program. That keeps telling them it didn't download. You are stealing people's bandwidth alottments, not to mention their time.

5 days of downtime is unacceptable without rolling back to the last working version. Not to mention not giving your users, some of which who have made Revel an integral part of the business workflow , anymore information then a canned apology.

Pass this up to your bosses. Someone needs to step up to the plate and do a little customer service...

Doing nothing is Criminal!!!

I've tweeted MacWorld and Adobe Revel directly. I suggest everyone tweet everyone relevant about this amazing negligence on the part of Adobe.

I understand glitches happen but for this to have now gone of for days is pretty unbelievable...and as far as I can tell from representative answers...no end in sight.

I have a Premium account and its about ready for the monthly renew payment. I not happy about having to pay for something I can't use. Secondly, I'm not happy about it taking so long to resolve the problem! Some answers please!!

It oblivious they are in CYA mode and not saying anything!

It sure would be nice if a company could say we screwed up and we are sorry!

But there is probably a lot more going on here than we realize....

Apple and Adobe like to blame each other often.

Does the flash player work on IOS... NO..

There is probably a team of lawyers trying to figure our what the best thing to say is....

In the mean time everyone else has probably been told to shut up!

What a wonderful world we live in!

I am now looking into Trunx, a free iOS and desktop app that stores an unlimited number of photos (unlimited through September) forever. Good review on CNET. It doesn't edit on the phone like Revel does, but... it works! Has a built in camera release button with a great "echo" feature: take a still image with a snippet of audio. www.trunx.me.
I'm not affiliated with it in any way.

Adobe, you recently changed Revel's terms of service to push more people into paying subscriptions.

Any plan to provide these people with decent support and to be accountable for issues?

3 days with not update, no apology, and no ETA for a fix is not very impressive. The first thing you did in this thread is to blame apple (which I understand impose some restrictions), but I have a number of applications installed and I have never been unable to use one for 3 days in a row following a failed software update.
