Photoshop: Support spherical 360° panorama

Lightroom outputs very strange results for 360° spherical panoramas.

When (!) it succeeds to generate a preview, it just looks like crap this:

It evens skips ons sixth of the images, in areas that are perfectly fine (no overlap issue).

This is what is to be expected with the exact same images:

Am I missing a setting or is there some bug?
Is there a way to change the center point of the projection?

Antoine,

I spoke to the Camera Raw team and got the word that we do not currently support the 360 degree panorama in our merge pipeline. I have converted this post to a feature request so that people can click the +1 button and gather votes.

AFAIK, Antoine, there isn't a way (in Lightroom) to reset the center point of a projection.
Does Camera Raw also miss-stitch it?

You wouldn't be able to share a set of the errant images with me would you?

Looking at the original images, some of the clouds have hardly any fine detail to match on and would be a challenge for a completely non-tunable, automatic process like Adobe uses.  I use alternative software that can be manually guided to stitch difficult panoramas.

Are you sure that this is spherical panorama ?   Seems more like a cylindrical to me.
