Max 2020 Updates ACR

Good to see more love applied to ACR

hoping we can see in future:

icons to click for panels

moveable panels like Ps

legacy crop tool options

local colour grading that doesn’t involve having to dive into a ps

mousewheel zooming and slider control

more keyboard shortcuts

baby steps :-)

This is my signature.  There are many like it, but this one is mine.

What have the actually applied?

I haven't been able to find a list of updates for ACR.

Too scared to update blindly.

@Ash_Mills_Photography   Have you made individual Idea posts for each of these?

They have all been submitted in the past I believe.

Yes, these have all been submitted.

Ash has done a good job of gathering all the Feedback across previous posts and putting it all into one list.

Okay, I have updated and had a very quick play.

Update appeared to go smoothly. I had ALOT of issues with PS 2020 update (last year), but the problems didn't come up until later on. All fixed now thanks to Customer Support.

The Color Grading tools look fantastic! These were a key feature on Capture One software, I am glad that Adobe has caught up with it! The tool looks strong and I look forward to really getting to grips with.

The UI customization is an improvement BUT not better than the Icons we had in ACR pre-12.3.

The Compact mode looks better on my 27inch, but not tried on my 13inch yet. Still by clicking opening a panel, the rest of the panels move location, so you have to hunt for it in the list. The Icons (pre-12.3) were ALWAYS in the same location, so always knew where you were heading.

Removal of panels seems an odd feature, since a new user might remove a panel that they don't use. They'll then forget about it and never learn to use it.

Disappointed that Icons has not been made a Customisation option. Adobe should Prioritise that into the next ACR patch.

If only these ran under High Sierra (macOS 10.13)...
