Lightroom/Camera Raw: How to find/download lens profile without the downloader

I need a lens profile for a Samyang 14mm, but it appears the "Adobe Lens Profile Downloader" was discontinued this year... how can I find the profile and download it manually? While I'm on the topic, I'll need a camera profile for a D750 and D600 to go with it...

Will it work with non-cloud versions of PS and LR? It sounds to me like something built-in to the CC stuff; not for me.

The Lens Profile Creator has nothing to do with CC stuff, it's just an application to create profiles yourself.

The only thing I don't see in this app (despite that sentence that I copied directly from the Adobe site) is how you could also use it to download profiles other people have made. I don't think you can.

Okay I'm running LP Creator now, but I don't see a way to download existing profiles, only create them. I guess I can just figure out how to make my own, but I'm reading that there are tried and true profiles out there that work (it's listed here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html), that used to be available via the downloader... I'd rather use those...

According to the link above, "Adobe's development team adds new lens profiles every release."... although there's nothing that suggests what this even means; every release of what? LPC? Because it links to V1.0.4, and there are no profiles that I can find direct access to.

Yes, the links and the website are confusing. The link I quoted clearly suggests that the downloader is now part of the creator app, but I can’t find this either, so I don’t think it is true. That Adobe adds new profiles with every release simply means what it says: each time that a new version of Lightroom is released, it will contain new lens profiles.

So I guess that brings us back to my original question; how can I acquire profiles for my current cameras and lenses to use in CS6/ACR9? They are out there and were available via the "downloader" until this year, so surely there's a way to install them manually...

Installing them is easy, you just have to place them in the appropriate folder. Getting them is the problem without the downloader...

The below lens profiles are available in LR 6.4 and later versions. Is this the lens you're using and are you shooting raw (NEF) image files? The below lens profiles will NOT appear with JPEG image files.

Adobe Lens Profile Downloader

Note:

As of 1/1/2018, the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader is no longer developed and is unavailable for download. Adobe's development team adds new lens profiles every release. You can also request for specific lenses here.
